And the Mariners' faithful bid a farewell to Edgar Martinez :( Seattle has seen Griffey, A-Rod, Randy Johnson, and so many others come and go from their team, but Edgar has been their cornerstone and has ALWAYS been a Mariner for his long career. Im not a big Mariners fan or anything but Im gonna miss ol' Edgar. I only wish the Mariners couldve been playing the Phils in interleague play so I could have seen him play before he retired. :( He is hall of fame bound!
Ok anyway...the Texas Roadhouse thing tonight. Lisa, Stacey, Alyssa, Amy and I met up there. Amy was the one who drove the others there. Lisa was DRUNK! And she is the last person we'd have expected to see so wasted. She asked our waitress for her name 4 times, asked her to teach her the dance that the servers do every hour, pulled Alyssa away from a guy and yelled "She's underage dude!".
But on the plus side, good food! I had a rib eye steak and mashed potatoes...mmmm! Delicious! And its ALL country all the time! Woohoo! Gotta love that music! We all drove Stacey nuts cause she isnt into country, but Lisa, Alyssa, Amy and I are. When "Who's bed have your boots been under?" by Shania Twain came on, we all sang like total fools lol!
