1st period notes:
Robert Esche is in net. LeClair got a shot on goal, went off the post. Good scoring shot but it was a no go. Will the announcers shut up about Mogilny? Owen Nolan just took the puck in for icing.There goes Timander. Good job at clearing the zone, but icing is called. Belfour makes the start in the net for the Leafs, but got all 3 losses this year against Philly. Brian McCabe knocked Gagne down against the boards, almost head down on the boards. He was shook up, but is ok. I'll let McCabe slide. Gagne simply lost balance. Brashear tried to find McCabe but he was nowhere in site. Nice check for Johnsson! Wahoo! Esche looks nice tonight((personal comment)) Brian Leetch...la la la la WHO CARES? Looks like the LRH line is the only ones trying so far(LeClair, Recchi, Handzus). Whistle in front of the net..off sides on Philly. They said that Seidenberg is skating and may play soon. Yay! Brian Leetch's brother just got back form Afghanistan. Ok, anyway...back to hockey. Sundin gets checked by Recchi. YAY! Save...Belfour. Damn lol. Tie Domi hit a teammate with a shot, Felak(sp.) He is ok. Play keeps going. Domi and Sharp battle for the puck. Kaberle is a healthy scratch for the Leafs tonight. Good. I dont like him so na na na na na na! Nolan checked Johnsson and threw him down almost. What a jerk! LOL! Nieuwendyk(sp.) shot the puck and Eschie made a marvelous save. Oh I love ya Eschie baby! :D Domi ran into Fedoruk at center ice and fell over. He is ok, and back skating around like the self centered bastard that he is! Gary Roberts gets a penalty (High Sticking 13:43) and the Flyers get the game's first powerplay. Another Toronto penalty, which gives the Flyers a 2 man advantage for 53 seconds. Aki Berg got his stick up high on Simon Gagne. (((they showed a close up of Gagne...Julie drools))) Alex Zhamnov has a +10 since joining the Flyers, and he gives the puck to Johnsson. Gary Roberts came out of the penalty box and the Flyers gave up a shorthanded goal to Roberts' Maple Leafs. 59 seconds left in the now one man advantage. Only the 3rd shorthanded goal given up by the Flyers this season.Patrick Sharp has a cut lip from a high stick form Bryan Marchmant(High sticking 16:22:). Now a 2 man advantage for 50 seconds. LeClair got knocked down in front of Belfour. Off sides for Philadelphia with 1:53 left in the period. Nice save, Esche, off the corner.

Two minors on Philly. Timander(Boarding 4:44), Pitkanen(High Sticking 4:44) Two man advantage for the Leafs.(((Personal note: Gagne is hot!) Nice clear by Handzus. Goal for the Leafs. Ken Klee(High Sticking 7:11) Flyers on a powerplay. Gagne drew the penalty.((Gagne is fiiiiineeeeeeee))
OK Ive come to the conclusion to not list every penalty. Will just talk about scoring and fights, whenever Brashear gets in one lol
