"The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired center Alexei Zhamnov from the Chicago Blackhawks and a fourth round draft choice in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for defenseman Jim Vandermeer, the rights to unsigned 2003 draft choice Colin Fraser and a second round pick in the 2004 draft according to General Manager Bob Clarke.
